A monthly recap feature on the blog where I tell you what happened in the past month in my life, blog and around the blogosphere.
LIFE
I know, I know I’m a little late for this recap and I ask for forgiveness because last September was just me WORKING for almost all Saturdays of it. I get to attend a fun and super informative journalism workshop for teachers so it’s all good! It was a seminar and a workshop so we were also tasked to write. We wrote for the different categories: News Writing (I won fifth place), Feature Writing, (I got in for third place) and News Writing (which I’m no good at!). We also had a Copyreading Activity which really challenged me and I got first place for it!
READING WRAP-UP
September is another sad reading month and I only managed to read two books.
I’m still confused over this book. There parts that I like but overall, it was a little weird and left me with more questions than when I started reading it.
This is a re-read and it reminded me why it is my favorite Shadowhunters book so far. I wish I can read all the published Shadowhunters books before the release of Queen of Air and Darkness but I know that it just isn’t possible.
MIBF EXPERIENCE
I have known about the Manila International Book Fair since 2012 but only managed to attend this year. I was still a student when I found out about this event and I was preparing for board exams last year so I wasn’t able to go. This year though I was determined to attend even if there was a typhoon.
I actually didn’t buy anyhting from the actual MIBF event because I was saving money. I just strolled the first floor and took some pictures.
How cute is this wall?!! There were other bookish walls like this but I didn’t see them at the event. I guess I didn’t strolled around enough.
I bought all my books from Book Binge Bazaar. I think Book Binge Bazaar was even more sulit than Big Bad Wolf (though I would still go if there would be another one!) Even though I went the last day, there were still great selections of books to choose from. The lines at the cashier were super short and fast.
Just some cool things from Pop Hub.

Pop Hub Haul
I got this print from Betina Continuado‘s booth. She was a contributor in Woman, Create’s 2018 Planner. I wish I could have gotten more of her art because they’re all so pretty!

Book Binge Bazaar Haul
How was your September? How many books did you read and hauled?
Glad you finally made it to the event you’ve been dreaming of for years! Sounds like you had a fantastic time.
I really did! I can’t wait for next year!
